Self-determination, safety, and dignity.

These are our top priorities.

A safe space for trans*, intersex, and non-binary people

The TIN* Shelter offers protection and safety for trans, intersex, and non-binary people affected by partner violence.
Each resident has their own furnished room. Daily life is organized with self-determination and personal responsibility.

In this protected environment, TIN* individuals can take time and space to recover from distressing experiences.
Throughout their stay, each resident is supported by a dedicated counselor from our advisory team.
The address of the shelter is confidential — this ensures the safety of all residents.

You can call us during our consultation hours.
Together, we’ll talk about your situation and see whether our shelter is the right place to support you.

We work closely with the existing network for TIN* individuals in Munich.
This cooperation ensures needs-based, respectful, and sensitive support for trans*, intersex, and non-binary people in all their concerns and matters.

Your safety is our top priority.
If you are in an acute danger situation and cannot pack your belongings safely, you can, of course, still come to us — your safety comes first.

(Please note that admission is only possible after a prior conversation during our consultation hours.)

The self-identification, pronouns, and identities of all residents are respected.
Deadnaming or misgendering is not tolerated in the shelter.
